I dare say, Digital marketing is not for the weak, and I have firsthand experience. I had dabbled into the tech space at a very tender age, My curiosity had grown since then and continues to grow! Starting out I was just happy about the many things I could achieve with a computer, it got so interesting that I made it a point of duty to learn new things each week

Two years ago I found myself learning Digital marketing! this was because I found out that I needed to showcase my products and services to more people so as to be of more value or help both them and myself.

I have grown in the digital marketing space by overcoming the many challenges that I had encountered, But Today I can Boldly beat my chest to say that: I know Digital marketing:

Today I will be sharing with you

2 Things that have been misjudged in Digital Marketing

  1. Content is King!: Yeah right, If you are into the copywriting or digital marketing field, immediately you got to that point you would probably have completed the sentence without reading it off your device. No sincere digital marketer would deny The truth that content is very important in the Digital space, it is the crooks of the digital ecosystem from graphics to videos to texts. every communication has to be digital thus the need and ultimately its importance. But come to think of it. If you have a great video presentation or a beautiful infographic explaining rocket science to elementary children, and it is saved away on your hard drive in your cupboard, “yes the one with a faulty hinge”, who would you be able to impact with such wonderful content? it all boils down to sharing and engagement. I dare say content Engagement is the crown! and a king without a crown is no king, yeah, How is our king doing now?
  2. SEO Is Difficult: For what it’s worth what you know how to do you know, and what you don’t know, you don’t. Many people struggle to put a crown on their king. and for one reason or the other, the crown refuses to fit. if you know your onion you should be able to enjoy your suya in peace. the fact that you struggle with SEO shows that you are trying to do everything at the same time. for the purpose of specificity and context, I would love to focus on On-page SEO, I.e. the one we have total control over; when creating your beautiful article or blog post you should keep to the following rules and keep the size of your kings head withing the crown wearing range.
  1. Start with an SEO Friendly URL. your URLs should contain the Title of your post and be concise. Never let the face of our king have ugly spots like yourdomain.com/12_4t/pet3Z#.
  2. The Title of your post should Contain your Keyword: this is pretty self-explanatory your H1 title should contain your keyword because this is what the search engine sees as the title of your posts and used to determine if your post is related to the search term.
  3. Please Use Images, Videos and Audio: Wherever possible please add beautiful images, audio or even videos to make your content have the full multimedia experience and let the readers attracted to your king!
  4. LINKS: Every king must have his cabinet members and people to guide and give directions in the kingdom. you need to add links to other people’s post that has a relationship with whatever it is that you are talking about, the beauty of this is that a quick google search would reveal a number of those to you. Also, you should link to some of your own content on the post, even if it is your homepage just link something😁 but seriously what were you thinking?
  5. Modify or Qualify your Title: Using Captivating Titles and modifiers to gain the attention of your readers is a vital key to crowning your king, words like secret, 2022, latest, best, Hidden etc, have a way of making the readers believe that there is something they do not know that you are going to tell them. Subconsciously people tend to believe what they read even if one part of their mind knows that it is not real, curiosity would get the better of them in the end, they satisfy their curiosity whether positively or negatively and you are able to give your king a crown. WIN! WIN!! WIN!!!
  6. Length is Strength: Am I the only one that quickly scrolls down to the end of an article before coming to read up? I hope not! Most of the time if I am reading for information, I quickly skim through the site, and I discovered that it is not really arranged in numbers and bullets to easily identify what is and what is not. If you are trying to rank for a keyword that is already ranking by some other marketer you had better “have a lot to say in your defence”
  7. Sharing Button: Make it easy for your readers to quickly share your content with other networks, like social media and other apps in general, this would boost your kings crown

In my journey as a digital marketer, I have learnt that sharing is very important, the knowledge I got from
